TUNCYUREK family has established its first operations in 1971 by launching the knitwear production company Detay Orme, in Istanbul. Many years operating in knitwear business, the company has enlarged its marketing activities by opening two wholesale stores in central Istanbul. In 1984 family has launched its own yarn spinning mill and Dye house; Tunc İplik and Tunç Boya, and started to produce its own yarn for knitwear. In 1990, current factory building has completed and all production is moved from central city to Avcılar suburb which is 15 km east to the ATATURK airport.
